LAST DAY of our Singapore Trip

This is the most crucial day of the trip, as mentioned, it's the LAST DAY of our trip! I haven't even got my parents & "H's" gift too! My Gosh! I told my girlfriends the night before I want to go shop alone, if possible as some of them are already tired and want to stop shop. I basically re-pack my luggage again the night before, not mistaken, I only went to bed at 3am. I woke up at 9am to prepare and head straight to Harbourfront to drop my bag at Aeroline counter. I can't be bringing it along all the way to Tampines!

Buddy thought I was sad to shop alone as mentioned in my last post. I wasn't, I was just overwhelmed when "H" sms me & said we can finally meet later that night when he comes to pick me up. I just couldn't imagine myself being alone in another country bracing through every single day....I just can't do it without my family, "H" and friends. Therefore, I really salute my buddy, Megan which will soon spend her 2nd year there.

I could only remember that I went to Harbourfront, whisking away to Tampines, then to Bugis (crazy with too much shops & ppl) and rush back to Harbourfront! I was supposed to have dinner with buddy and others before head for the bus, but time just wouldn't allow me to do it. I told myself that I must get some bread & also a cup of my favourite Starbucks green tea ice blended as a way to pamper myself after the hard day.

When I reached to Harbourfront, all others are still busy doing last minute shopping. I went to Aeroline counter without others to re-pack some shopping bags, while Mr & Mrs Tiong are all prepared waiting at the lounge. As the bus was waiting downstairs, 3 of us head towards the bus first in case they do not wait for others, so we can stop them just in case.

Others turn up right on the dot. It was sad for us to drop Megan all alone, we just can't stop ourselves saying goodbye to her.....even in the bus, it was heartache to see her waving back to us standing there all alone. Suddenly, Mrs Tiong went panic said she forgotten to bring their passports!! Her face was really really white but Mr Tiong was just so cool and said "It's ok, we just go down and get our bags". Mrs Tiong was still stunned and didn't move.

It went haywire that time, we waved back to Megan showing the passport and she was confused. While Mr Tiong stopped the driver from moving and asked the assistant to give them the bags. Instead of all 6 of us, only 4 of us went home with that bus, leaving at 6.45pm...without Mr & Mrs Tiong but indeed Eunice and Angie was delighted as they could have an extra seat for themselves.

We were served food after Singapore & Johor customs. With a "Chicken Rice Shop" sticker smacked on top of the container, of course there'll be chicken inside but there isn't any. Just some fish in curry, some vege, wantons & rice....yupe, that's our dinner. We finished them quickly...then were served hot drinks. Later, they give us blankets and we have a nice journey back home.

There goes all of our 4 fantastic holiday together. It's all FANTASTICA!

DAY 3 of our Singapore Trip

Since I still have an hour before the shop close, I might spend my useful time to blog now....keke...

For our 3rd day, I'm pretty sure we indeed leave from buddy's home early but I guess the journey was too long & the walk was long too and our itinerary went haywire as some of us are already hungry even before start shopping. Well, imagine for not having any breakfast & go straight to shopping, meh?

So we decided to head for lunch first, but on our way to the Restaurant, there were just too much temptation. Eunice's cousin, Michelle reckons that La Senza had pretty good bargains for lingerie so it's a must stop destination. Well, the reason I said this is because our feet just wouldn't listen that we'll head back after lunch.

Eunice, Angie, Michelle & me grab some stuff at La Senza and I think that basically took more than our precious 45mins. Eunice was certainly the biggest customer in our bunch. All of us will almost faint if we don't head to the Restaurant quick, while Mr & Mrs Tiong only joined us after 3omins later.

We only set foot to the Ichiban Boshi Restaurant by 2.52pm & yes, we had a fantastic view for ourselves, the Suntec City.

Mrs Tiong & me after the hearty meal, the sushi's good. Michelle said there's also an outlet in Pavillion KL, maybe I'll check them out next time.

Mr Tiong's modelly neck look, psst, those plates are all his!!

All busy for the camera's. Like I said, there's just too much around. Ladies, when can I get all the pictures from you girls?

Eunice, Megan, Michelle & Mr Tiong are just too busy to pose for me ;-( (from left)

Mr Tiong found out later from our conversation that we bought quite a lot of lingerie & he was suggesting for a lingerie party! Michelle would only allow him to enter if he managed to buy the La Senza monkey boxer. Haha!! Wei, see your Mrs Tiong's one lah....whatlah!

We brace ourselves to Marina Square as buddy reckons it's a nice shopping complex. We all split when we reach there....into 2 groups, eventually 3 groups and back to 1 group! Haha..confusing isn't it? Angie, Jenny & me are in 1 group. Had a pretty fun time exploring the mall.

Look at all these food, I just had my lunch but it's hard to resist all these!

Mr & Mrs Tiong's biggest outcome would be the Lacoste shirts and a TISSOT watch (besides CK, Gucci, LV, Levis & many more branded things they've bought over the 2 days, loaded lah you guys!!)

Eunice's biggest outcome that day would be La Senza, Quiksilver & Dorothy Perkins's stuff. What about me? That day is the most tiring day for me, the stomachache pain early in the morning, walk from morning until evening, I finally gave birth to a pair of Siamese twins. Hehe.....!! I was so tired, exhausted & also paiseh as all others had to wait for me. At the same time, excited & speechless. I was a bit down that "H" wasn't with me that time.

My biggest thanks to Michelle & Megan. Thanks for being there with me & helped me through this. This is the first ever shot from my little baby.

Without wasting much time, as they were waiting very long already, we head to New York, New York Restaurant. Sorry Eunice, Angie, Jenny & also Jafar (Michelle's boyfriend). By the way, the place's name is cool eh? Food's cool too! The cappucino Mushroom soup was something very very different. Mr & Mrs Tiong came join us again after our dinner.

Thank you Mr Tiong, for taking this picture at New York for us.

We was supposed to head to Clarke Quay after dinner, but look at all the shopping bags behind? Actually there's more, Mr & Mrs Tiong's portion and I guess it'll be tiring for us to go there and we won't enjoy it cuz need to look after our shopping bags again. They said it's a cool place to hang out, nice bar, nice atmosphere & most importantly, can check out people mah.

So we went to Chijmes, didn't have time to have drinks there as it's quite late & we fear we won't be able to get transport home. So instead, we had some photo taking sessions.

Angie & Eunice were a little drunk taking too much picture.

Eunice (right) & with her fantastic cousin, Michelle (left)

Eunice, what you doing there?!?

It's ALL MINE lah!

This is the finale of our 3rd day in Singapore that night. The beautifully decorated gate at the Chijmes and the 2nd shot from my little baby, Sony K850i.

DAY 2 of our Singapore Trip

You all would have thought we had a fantastic start with Eunice having 3 cups of soya bean first thing in the morning, but some were actually ours. By the time we reached Orchard, it's almost 12pm. Mr & Mrs Tiong had already begun their shopping adventure way earlier than us and we met up for lunch before we start our shopping spree.

Eunice with carrot soya bean and celery mix with soya bean.

By 1.13pm,we start our shopping spree mission at Wisma Atria, then to Takashimaya to shop for Christmas gift.

Besides shopping for Christmas gift, indeed we must shop for ourselves too. So the gift exchange only took place officially at 5.07pm at Starbucks. Plus Megan's birthday presentation as well. Hey, Eunice, look here!

Another modelly neck look of Eunice.

Couple awards of year 2007....Mr & Mrs Tiong

We only left Orchard at around 7pm to Bugis to shop again & met for dinner at the foodcourt. Jenny & me head to Bugis Street where the fashion suits us more but most of the shops are closed early for Christmas countdown. Just by 11.30pm, we head back to the cafe to countdown together.

All of us head back to home but we continued our celebration in buddy's room until 4am. By the time everyone was well asleep, my stomach decided to disturb me until early morning. Don't know what's wrong.....;-( I couldn't sleep at all.

P/S: In fact, there are a lot more pictures but it's either in Megan, Angie or Mrs Tiong's camera....

All GIRLS' aka Christmas & Chinese New Year shopping Spree TRIP!

If you have read my previous post, you would know it's hard for me to travel without my "H". I realise this on the last day of my trip when I went alone to shop for my parents & myself. I almost burst out & cried inside the MRT train. I then realise, how hard it is for my buddy to be alone in Singapore & to go through her daily life, it's not that simple as I thought it can be, I truly understand it at that particular moment & it's hard for me to even imagine to be away from my family & loved ones ("H" and also my friends aka piggy doggy friends).

My buddy, Ms Megan. Are you looking for me?

I'm using this red colour to create an already past Christmas spirit, and was supposed to drop a line the night before my bus to Singapore the next morning but I've been too busy packing & re-packing my luggage. I really need to train myself not to overpacked my stuff but somehow I still brought 2 extra blouse. Ai....'sat pai' again. Let's start our Singapore trip details. I went breakfast with parents plus managed to tapau breakfast for my "H" so I could catch a glimpse of him and keep it in my mind for the rest of four days being away from "H". I also steal (umm, took lah) 2 nasi lemaks & some 'vadeh' for my buddy & parents. She was dying to try "H's" nasi lemak.

We were on time at Menara Axis to catch our Aeroline bus departing at 11am. There were 7 of us inc, me, buddy (Megan), buddy (Jenny), Eunice, Angie, Mr & Mrs Tiong. As soon we were on board, we were given a bottle of mineral water. It took me quite some time to adjust to the seats cuz I think I was bringing too much thing along!! Not long after that, I think after an hour, we were served nasi lemak & my buddy had 2 nasi lemak's sitting right in front of her!! She kept on complaining, "wah...so much, I don't think so I can finish all" but anyhow, she did FINISHED them. Mr & Mrs Tiong didn't had any breakfast so they basically 'wallup' & Mrs Tiong had a fantastic nap immediately after that. She only woke up when we stop at Pagoh for some 'pissing' sessions...hahaha!!

Angie (left), Jenny (right), Mr & Mrs Tiong (behind)

Jenny & Eunice (isn't her dog cute?) She hide it through customs....

A quick snap with Aeroline at Pagoh rest stop. Others are just too busy shopping even at REST STOP! AI.....

Eunice is pretending to be amazed with the big wheels that transfers us to Singapore....

Torn in between...Aeroline & Nice but I think I'll go with Angie.....cuz she looked like a Superstar

The journey continues....when can I put my foot into Singapore?

Mr & Mrs Tiong quite agrees too....

Me three agree too!! BORING.....

My buddy who had 2 nasi lemaks didn't dissapoint herself & bought some fruits as desserts. Everyone was either busy chatting or watching the movie or checking out each other. Other than that, Jenny was complaining it was hard to piss inside the mobile toilet in the bus as it was too small & it hit her head, haha!

We had a smooth custom clearance at both Johor & Singapore and before we knew it, we reached to Harbourfront just before 4pm. We had a spectacular view of a BIG cruise right in front of the Harbour & hope we have chance next time to travel with it. Angie reckon it was all worth it. Without wasting much time, Mr & Mrs Tiong headed their way to Pasir Ris while we all tailed Megan back to her apartment, it was a long journey. All 5 of us shared the room for the next 4 days but it was FUN!

By 3.37pm, we've already passed through the Singapore Customs....

Heading now to Singapore!!

We drop our bags & came out immediately to meet at "Lau Pa Sat"? There's just too much "pan mee" stall at that foodcourt but everyone had a gala dinner. Megan were asking if we're too tired & would retire to home after dinner & we were all shocked! "Wat?! At 8pm in Singapore, U want us to go home?! And all the way to the foodcourt already?! And just after taken dinner?! WAT?!" Haha...poor her cuz she got to go to work the next morning but all of us were just too hyper, I guess.

Let's just continue our 2nd chapter of the trip when I have time tomorrow, or perhaps the day after, I'm just really tired.

My Pre-Christmas Celebration....at M'sia still

This post is actually a cut & paste from my Friendster blog;

It's an unusual year this year for us, both with my friends and "HONEY". We decided sometime in September to invite all our girl friends to do a last Christmas celebration with our beloved & most treasured friend who was migrated, well, can't say migrate, can say 'short term' career progress in Singapore as we feel it's important to celebrate it together this year. Could you imagine, we've already known each other for 10 years now, some even longer if we estimate based from Form 5 onwards. A lot more reason there is to celebrate it at Singapore this year, (psst, there's always a reason when u want to go. 1st: Can say my first ever ALL GIRLS' trip since this last 10 years, 2nd: Can't really imagine how it'll turn out!!, 3rd: SHOP SHOP SHOP!! What else??!)

Well, it's going to be weird to travel without "H" this time, very weird. I had a bad experience once but I trust my friends will be looking after each other. Eunice, Jenny & Megan once thought I was shivering to death when all 4 of us was force to share 1 bed in the hotel room. They sacrifice their sweater & blanket and make sure I was well covered, (aww! So SWEET!!). Of course I had a wonderful sleep that night, cuz I am a person who's afraid of COLD. Little did they know, I wasn't cold but I am could say "SnORING" or "MumBLing" in my dreams, when I told them the NEXT morning!! Poor Megan, she was so COLD that night she couldn't slept. Sorry Buddy....Next night was Eunice's turn to SNORE & Jenny was stuck in the middle and couldn't SLEEP....I can't help it but kept on laughing while writing this. It was a good memory....
Well, I hope "H" would also have a wonderful celebration here. We took some pictures both at The Curve & 1-Utama. Haven't got the opportunity to go Midvalley yet, but I'm in awe with 1-Utama's Christmas decoration!!

I think the lovely background at 1-Utama looks nicer.....

There's A PEST in my WORKPLACE!

A PEST suits best with a TREE, so I'm using Green here...a dictionary also says a PEST means;

a) an annoying or troublesome person, animal, or thing; NUISANCE
b) an insect or other small animal that harms or destroys garden plants, trees, etc
c) a deadly epidemic disease, esp. a plague, pestilence

I've make myself to calm down after understanding the meaning of PEST, as I could SHOUT OUT all my angriness through here, I'm more relieved but I'll like to dedicate this particular song to this particular PEST, the only four-eyed PEST in my WORKPLACE.

Yoohoo!! My First POST!

Hi All,

Those who were re-directed from my Friendster blog would understand why I have shifted here. Those who doesn't, I'm actually p*** o** trying 2 full hard days to upload photos with my posts and yet it doesn't work!! What's the use then when the most important element can't be wisely utilised? There's a saying of "A Picture says a THOUSAND words", and in my case, "A PICTURE says a MILLION words".

Therefore, GOD, please bless me with this wonderful new BLOGSPOT......updates shall come within the next 10 mins....so watch out!!

PEACE aka STEPHANIE
